My Own Card

In my contemporary class, For this project I designed my own profession card in Adobe Photoshop. I had to take a selfie and delete the background, I did this by using the polygonal tool and then the magic wand tool. Then I had to put things that represented me on the card. I put the class I am and my favorite movie/tv show. When i was doing this project I learned how to make a professional card and i also liked learning how to take the background off the main image. So this is how i did my project at its the best one I made.

Fall Banner Ad

In my contemporary Media class, I designed an animated banner ad using Adobe Photoshop. First I chose to get a background of a Fall theme Then I had to create 2 separate layers to type the text used for the banner. Then I animated each layer to make the banner come alive. The text has a slide up fading effect which makes my banner look more interesting. During this project I learned how to design a professional animate banner advertisement.

My first blog post -

In my Contemporary Media class, my first assignment was to design a blog using Google Blogger since the district encourages us to use Google for our assignment. According to wikipedia, the definition of Contemporary Media is:

Media most commonly refers to content available on-demand through the Internet, accessible on any digital device, usually containing interactive user feedback and creative participation. Common examples of new media include websites such as online newspapers, blogs, wikis, video games and social media. A defining characteristic of new media is dialogue. New Media transmit content through connection and conversation. It enables people around the world to share, comment on, and discuss a wide variety of topics. Unlike any of past technologies, New Media is grounded on an interactive community.[1]
